сущ. шлюп , - (гол. sloep), корабли бывали нескольких типов. Парусный 3 мачтовый военный корабль XVII - XIX вв. с прямым парусным вооружением. По размерам занимал промежуточное положение между корветом и бригом. Предназначался для разведывательной, дозорной и посыльной службы. Также были одномачтовые шлюпы. Использовались для торговли и рыболовства. Распространенные в Европе и Америке в XVIII - XX вв. Парусное вооружение состоит из гафельльного или бермудского грота, гафельного топселя и кливера. Иногда дополнительно снабжали еще одним кливером и стакселем. -
